Triptychon Impressions

Located in the very heart of Berlin, a few steps away from Alexanderplatz and its famous TV-tower, our Berlin location joins the beat of one of Europe’s most vibrant & culturally diverse cities. Together with the nearby SAP building, SAP Labs and the new multi-purpose DataSpace facilities, the Apphaus Berlin strengthens SAP’s presence in the heart of the German capital.

Facts and Figures

The SAP AppHaus Berlin is located in a satellite location, just two blocks away from the main SAP offices.  It is part of the historical Hackescher Markt neighborhood, known for its system of interconnected courtyards. Located on the top floor, our office enjoys a spacious wrap-around balcony with clear views of the Fernsehturm (“TV Tower”), one of the most easily recognized symbols of Berlin. It houses approx. 160 sqm of office space for our design team, including a small meeting room of about 15 sqm. For face-to-face customer workshops, we are supported by the nearby DataSpace, SAP’s premiere event-hosting location in Berlin, which operates its own high-tech restaurant, café and exhibition space.

About the Space

The AppHaus Berlin was designed based on the original AppHaus in Heidelberg and opened to customers in late 2016. While somewhat smaller than its larger siblings, the Berlin AppHaus proudly sits on the top floor of a beautiful, historic building in the heart of Germany’s capital. This quiet location, facing onto an interior courtyard, also houses the offices of SAP Labs Berlin. Here, visitors can experience a space that supports dynamic work, while fostering collaboration and openness to face the type of quickly evolving projects and challenges that are often faced by our customers.

At the heart of the AppHaus in Berlin lies the deep personal investment of all team members: the space keeps evolving and it is a project for itself; the team can iterate choices and apply its own style to define and redefine the working environment it lives in.

Thanks to its central location near historic Alexanderplatz, visitors can enjoy a roof-top view of the Berlin TV Tower, as well as explore the vibrant neighborhood of Berlin-Mitte, with its many museums, art-galleries and its lively cafés and restaurants.
