Challenge

For HR processes to run smoothly in SAP SuccessFactors, accurate and up–to–date master data is essential. Maintaining this data is time–consuming and demands deep expertise. Any discrepancies in master data (e.g., incorrect employee records or missing employee details) can lead to payroll errors, compliance risks, and process inefficiencies.

Solution

An app with AI–functionality that allows HR admins
(1) to create error rules to be checked and
(2) define data fields and relationships between data fields to be scanned for inconsistencies
(3) define the datasets on which checks have to take place.
Feedback given to the system by HR admins is stored as guideline for future use so that, for instance, by gen AI flagged inconsistencies in data relationships that were deemed ok by admins are not flagged anymore in the future.

Outcome

The errors or inconsistencies found by Gen AI are presented in a structured format with a possible solution to fix the error. If the user agrees with the fix the data correction is executed in SAP SuccessFactors. Data inconsistencies in fields or relationships that cannot be defined in a hard rule are flagged and can be remedied by (re)clustering functionality, picking the favored value of a cluster or by creating guidelines for future checks.
